Fall...here and gone!

Fall, as we know it, is here and gone! Thanksgiving is over so it is time to shift gears to Christmas. CrAzY!!!! Where did the year go?!
We had a great fall. September got off with a bang. Curry had "Grandparents Day" at school, and he was blessed to have Lollie, Pop and Mammy come to share the special day with him. Pappy had to work :( but he and Mammy came a few weeks later for their own visit. The grandparents had a great time and received some special crafts Curry made and had a nice lunch at his school. Have I said lately that I love his school, Lake Country Christian School?! It is amazing!!! We enjoyed the nice weather with lots of fun outside as a family.

October saw fun with family and at school. Sophie had a field trip with her Mother's Day Out to the pumpkin patch in Sand Springs then a picnic at Chandler Park. It was a cool, windy OK day, but the kids all had fun!

This was her "cute face" she said :)

Fun at the park!

At the end of October, the "Morgan clan" (minus my boys) went to Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine. It was an amazing place!!! Sophie and Richard had a blast in the waterpark (as did the big kids, aka: me, Chelle and Matt)! Next year, we will ALL be making the trip! Such a great place, if you have never been, GO! And it was the week before Halloween, so the kids got to dress in their costumes and "trick or treat" to staff all over the resort.

Halloween was fun for my Bumblebee and Incredible Hulk. We did a little trick or treating to some friends, then we went to a party for the youth group at the Bush's house. We had a hotdog cookout and pumpkin carving....then Curry played capture the flag with the "big kids." Lots of fun!!

The youth carved pumpkin helmets :)

Also, on Halloween, Curry's school had a "Land Run" to simulate what it was like for the settlers of Oklahoma (they are learning OK History). They all stayed in character, cook lunch on their "claims" and had weddings, funerals, and school. It was awesome to get to watch and see what they are learning and to see how all the kids work together. Wonderful experience!! A few pics:

That's it for now....November and Thanksgiving to come :)
